The last day for the Global Health course and the Current Affairs course, both led by Gary West, is Thursday, April 27th. Gary will have finished all lectures for these courses by April 27th.

The following two talks are scheduled to be held at Binkley Baptist Church, Willow Drive, Chapel Hill. They have been organized by William (Bill) Harrington billharringtoncc@yahoo.com and are open to all Peer Learning members.
i) Mr. John Newnam Thursday April 27/11:00 am-12:00 pm/Pocket Room John will be talking on psychotherapy: one on one therapy, family therapy, and in-home therapy. John has a long history in the mental health field and is currently working with families in their homes. ii) Ms. Marshele Carter Thursday May 11/11:00 am -12:00 pm/Pocket Room Marshele's talk is entitled "When War Comes Home" - she will describe her and her family's experiences in coping with her husband's PTSD. Marshele spent 15 years doing workshops, etc. to assist other military families in dealing with PTSD. John and Marshele will leave plenty of time for questions and comments and will join us for lunch at the K&W Cafeteria. Please feel free to contact Bill Harrington if needed. The Travels with Henry class, which meets on Tuesday afternoons at 1:30, is finished for the Spring 2017 semester.
The Emperors of Rome class taught by George Baroff is canceled for Tuesday, April 25th. Class will resume on Tuesday, May 2nd.
