Our tradition of "lunching out" for the month of  November shall be on Friday, November 15th, at 11:30 AM  at ZOE'S KITCHEN MEDITERRANEAN RESTAURANT, Eastgate Shopping Plaza.

Driving Directions:  Drive along 15-501, turn into Eastgate Shopping plaza (Trader Joe's)  drive to southeast corner.  Parking is also available at the Plaza parking lot.

New Course:  Edward & Wallis: Marriage and Mischief 1931-1986

WHAT: Edward and Wallis: Marriage and Mischief 1931 to 1986
DESCRIPTION: The course will cover the dramatic relationship of the American, Wallis Simpson, and King Edward focusing on their courtship and its impact on the British royal family, the abdication and its impact on Britain, their wedding, the scandal during the Second World War, and their post-war life in Paris until her death in 1986.
WHEN: Thursdays on Nov. 14 and Nov. 21 at 1:30 - 3:00 (Free. All are welcome!)
WHERE: Binkley Baptist Church, 1712 Willow Drive, Chapel Hill at room 17 in the Children Education wing. 
Layout where we hold opera classes. 
It is a very quiet end of an unoccupied wing with 45 seats and a big screen w HDMI cable to my PC for powerpoint presentations.  Very easy to set up.  WHO: Andrew O'Brien was born in the U.K. and graduated with bachelor's and master's degrees in history from Oxford University. Andrew also has a teaching degree from London University and a masters degree in teaching from Johns Hopkins University. He taught middle school for 21 years in Maryland. Recently retired, Andrew and his wife recently moved to NC.
