Are you almost ready for summer to be over? Your Peer Learning Board met July 20th to plan our fall semester. Our line-up of classes looks great and you can watch for registration materials in the mail and on the webpage in the next couple of weeks.
Our fall semester will start with a Social and Second Friday lecture on September 9th and the first week of classes will start on Monday, September 12th. A couple of new courses you can look forward to are "Common Medical Issues in Seniors" taught by Dr. Michael Joseph and "What make people tick or why to people behave the way they do?" taught by Bill Harrington.
The Board also reluctantly agreed to raise our tuition to $30 per semester or $60 per year. We hate to do this but tuition has been the same for more than ten years and our expenses are starting to outrun our receipts. We hope that you will pay this amount if you are able to do so but, please don't stay away if the tuition presents a problem to you. We want you here and we do have sufficient resources to include everyone who is interested.
So get ready, watch for further news and invite your friends to a new semester of Peer Learning.
