The new Peer Learning Board is busy working on the curriculum and schedule for the Spring 2016 semester. However, with all the changes that have taken place, the Board has decided to delay the start of the Spring 2016 semester by one month in order to allow adequate time for preparation of materials. The start of the Spring 2016 semester is as follows:
A new Peer Learning Board is in place. Some Board members have accepted new responsibilities and others are new members. Thank you to all Peer Learning Board members. To see the list of current Board Members, go to www.peerleaningofchapelhill.com and hover over “About Us” and then click on “Current Board Members”.
After serving as President of Peer Learning for the past 8 years, 90 year old George Baroff has decided to “retire”. George’s passion for Peer Learning has never wavered and he will still be active with the organization, serving on its Curriculum Committee and facilitating courses. Thank you George for your many years of dedication.
Sally Binkowski, who has been the Treasurer of Peer Learning, is now Vice President & President Elect. Sally will take over the reigns of President from George Baroff in September 2016. Patricia Manser, now Secretary & Vice President Elect, will take over as Vice President in September 2016. Jim Neeley has now taken over from Sally Binkowski as the Treasurer.
