Peer Learning is pleased to present our spring 2019 curriculum with old favorites, continuing courses, and new topics of interest to, we hope, everyone.
Our peer discussion groups are back: Friends Around the Kitchen Table, Short Story, Current Events and Book Club. Ongoing presentation classes: Ingrid Baird’s Operas continue with seven more from Giuseppe Verdi. George Baroff resumes his History of England with William The Conquerer and Dr. Michael Joseph continues the Medical School for Everyone with more medical rounds.
Exciting new offerings include: a creating writing class with Bob Lauterborn, a survey of ancient Asiatic civilizations by Mir Ali, and an in depth look at the NOVA documentary on weather and climate change by Frank Binkowski.
And, of course, we will continue our Second Friday lectures and Third Friday Stepping Out Luncheons.
